"Create A Fun Magic Routine with
a Grab Bag of Tricks!"
Teams Will Use Their Collective Creativity to Utilize What's-in-the-Bag
to Craft a Short Magic Routine!
This activity has proven to be one of the most popular theme nights we've hosted
with a 100% Ring participation due to the authentic fun and proactive creativity it generates.
The premise of the evening is simple. After dividing up into equal parts, each team
will receive a Grab Bag of various items and props. Then each participating team will have 45-minutes to come up with a "workable"
magic act or routine using any number of performers from their group.
Okay, Sounds Interesting, But What's
the Point?
The main object of the exercise is to utilize as MANY, if not ALL the props contained
in the GRAB BAG in some way, shape or form in your group's presentation. Just use the props in some logical
way during your magic act to qualify. Mostly, we're attempting to get folks to stretch their "magic muscles" a
bit and to have some good creative fun with this activity.
BEWARE: Not all Grab Bags will be identical, so the REAL
fun will be seeing what each team comes up with by just using their magic knowledge, ingenuity, expertise, and pure creativity.
Vast magical knowledge not required in order to participate.
Just a bit of creativity and a sense of fun and adventure. All levels welcome!
