John Abrams has been making a living as a professional entertainer for the past 11 years. He’s dominated every market he’s entered and continues to perform regularly. Unlike other so-called marketing “Gurus”, he actually practices what he preaches. Performing over 400 shows each year and continually studying and testing marketing strategies from other industries, his information is always current and relevant. John’s ultimate goal is to help create more professional entertainers than anybody else on the planet.

Below is a bit of a timeline to see how John went from “struggling actor”, to becoming the Rebel Entertainer that he is today.

The Early Years - From 1982 through 1999 - After graduating from the Manhattan Theater Academy of Dramatic Arts, performed as an actor in national and international commercials, industrials and had numerous TV guest appearances.  Also appeared in lead roles in many plays, live murder mysteries and traveled the states stage managing magic shows.

Birthday Party Domination - In 1999 created Animal Magic!, The Only Magic Show in Southern California with All Live Exotic Pets.  First ad went into yellow pages in October 1999.  DOMINATED the birthday party market in Los Angeles within 6 months averaging 6 shows every weekend.

The Library Sensation - In 2000 performed at the Gardena Public Library because the regular entertainer fell sick.  Was later invited to a library showcase (where librarians can preview acts they are thinking of hiring) and BOOKED UP THE ENTIRE SUMMER WITH ONE 3 MINUTE PERFORMANCE.  Was chosen over many other entertainers that had been performing for the library systems for years.  Creates a new show for each summer reading program theme and continues to be one of the top 3 library performers in all of So Cal.

Preschool & Daycare Saturation - In 2002 created a direct mail campaign to book over 100 preschool and daycare shows in 5 months.  Along with birthday parties and libraries, was performing over 350 shows a year.

School Assembly Innovation
 - In 2004 created Say No Way and The Animal Magic Fun Zone  school assembly programs.

- In 2005 created the A-P-E-M-A-N program in the parking lot of an elementary school literally one hour before the performance.  Also known as the inspirational show with the funny name.

- In 2007 researched, developed, created and marketed The Bully Game and The Bully Prevention Parenting Seminar.  Performed over 100 Bully Games in the first 6 months.

Author and Rebel Coach- In 2008 authored the Rebel Entertainers’ Show Building Course and Rebel Entertainers’ Marketing System.   Also founded the Rebel Entertainers’ Information Supersite.  Each is designed to teach advanced techniques and strategies to help live entertainers shortcut their path to success.

Current Aspirations  - Still performs about 400 library and elementary school programs each year.  Has recently thrown his hat into the corporate market with his brand new show John Abrams - Psychic Detective - For Entertainment Purposes Only.  Continues to research and provide success strategies to a growing army of Rebel Entertainers.
